Aaron Mitchel Deaune Brown

     Aaron Mitchel Deaune Brown died October 15, 2025, in Norman, Oklahoma at the age of 33 years 10 months 5 days. Funeral services are scheduled for 10:00 AM, Monday, October 27, 2025, at the Wadley’s Funeral Chapel. Interment will follow at the Noble IOOF Cemetery, entrusted to the care of Wadley’s Funeral Service.

     Aaron was born December 10, 1991, in Norman, Oklahoma to Jody and Shana (McElhaney) Brown. He was raised in Noble, graduating in 2011 from Noble High School. On a beautiful June day in 2012, Aaron married his beloved Brittany Gorbet at Andrew’s Park in Norman, marking a union filled with love and companionship. His professional life commenced at First Water in the same year, where he demonstrated unwavering dedication as he progressed from a ground hand to the esteemed role of stabilization foreman. His work ethic was evident from his high school days when he balanced studies with employment at Grissom Nursery and Hibbins Tires. A true sports enthusiast, Aaron's heart beat for the Oklahoma Sooners, although he humorously embraced his earlier allegiance to Oklahoma State University. His loyalty extended to the Dallas Cowboys, embodying a steadfast spirit through their trials and tribulations. In addition to his sporting passions, Aaron found joy in the simple pleasures of life—fishing, mowing, and immersing himself in the rhythms of music. His home was often alive with melodies, reflecting his diverse taste and love for the art. Aaron shared an extraordinary bond with Ripley, his faithful Great Dane, whose companionship added joy to his everyday life. Yet, above all, it was Aaron's deep love for his family and commitment to his children that defined him. He cherished each moment spent with them, ensuring his legacy would be one of love, support, and devotion. Aaron lead a life that was vibrant, full of passion, and rich with love, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever be treasured in our hearts.

     Aaron is preceded in death by his parents, Jody and Shana Brown; his grandparents, Carlene Hanks, Pat McElhaney and Deaune McElhaney; and his aunt, Amber Reeves. Survivors include his wife, Brittany Brown; his son, Ayden Brown; his daughter, Brooklyn Brown; his siblings, Scotty Brown, Ashley Brown, Tamera Brown; his nieces and nephews, Alyssa, Ella, Gracie, Dalton, and Josh; his uncle, Shaun McElhaney; his aunt, Tracey McElhaney; and numerous cousins and other relatives and friends.
