Albert Leroy Morris

     Albert Leroy Morris died May 22, 2022, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma at the age of 83 years 10 months 26 days.   A Graveside Memorial Service is scheduled for 11:00 AM, Saturday, April 1, 2023, at the Lexington Cemetery, entrusted to the care of Wadley’s Funeral Service.   

     Albert was born June 27, 1938, in Lexington, Oklahoma to Albert and Dolly (Wheeler) Morris.  He was raised and attended school in Lexington.  Albert was inducted into the United States Army in 1956, proudly serving until his honorable discharge in 1958.  Albert married Frona Wells in 1964 and were together for a few years. In 1991, he married Verna (Cockrell) Blockcolski in Noble, Oklahoma. 

     Albert is preceded in death by his parents, Albert and Dolly Morris; his sister, Dorothy Wolf; and his brothers, Roger Morris, Larry Dean Morris and Wayne Morris.  Survivors include his wife, Verna Morris; his step-children, Billy Jo Little, Shawna Kelly McCormick, Sheila Marie Myrick; his siblings, Robert Gale Morris and Louise Wyche; and numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.
