Alvin Bryan Carlton

     Alvin Bryan Carlton passed away surrounded by his family on October 15, 2023, at the age of 82 years. A memorial celebration will be held at 11:00 AM, Saturday, October 28, 2023, at the McClain County Extension Center, 1721 Hardcastle BLVD, Purcell, OK.

     Alvin was born December 17, 1940, in Elmore City, Oklahoma.  He married his wife, Margaret Bradley in 2000.  He was blessed with three children, one daughter, Becky Williams, and two sons, Allen Carlton and Bryan Jr.  He was also blessed with two bonus daughters, Karen White and Tammy Casady.  Bryan was in the Army and had many jobs he loved; however, his favorite was being retired.  He loved spending time with his family and friends.  He also enjoyed gardening, but loved traveling the most with his wife, Margaret.

     Bryan is preceded in death by his parents, A.C and Virdie Carlton; his son, Allen Carlton; his son-in-law, Ronald Williams; his brother, Gerald Carlton; and his sister, Yvonne Morrison.  Survivors include his wife, Margaret Carlton of Purcell; his daughters, Becky Williams of Lawton, OK, Karen White of Chickasha, OK, Tammy Casady of Oklahoma City, OK; his son, Alvin Bryan Carlton, Jr. and wife, Brook of Terrell, Texas; a sister, Norman Tillery and husband, Jack of Yukon, OK; his 13 grandchildren, Jeffery Christopher and Timothy Hilz, Stephen Dugan and Cheyenne Santos, Lilly Williams, Alexa and Isabella Sanchez, Wesley White, Icy White, Lauren Adams and husband, Austin, Benjamin Brown; his 11 great grandchildren, Joshua and Jaxon Hilz, Sean Dorff, Christopher Hilz, Zaidyn Hilz, Autumn and Bryleigh Ray Nova Santos, Lurain Darling, Carson and Kylee Santos; and many nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, and other relatives and friends that he loved, and that loved him.
