Brandon was born August 4, 1989, in Lubbock, Texas to Jeremy Don and Melissia Gail (Holmes) Wilson. He was raised in Wolfforth, Texas, attending Frenship High School. Committed to serving his country, Brandon enlisted in the United States Army on January 11, 2007, and served with honor until his medical retirement on May 11, 2010. On March 19, 2026, Brandon united in marriage with Sara Elizabeth Mooney in Hurlwood, Texas, marking a joyful new chapter in his life. Outside of his devotion to family, Brandon found great pleasure in the outdoors, with a particular fondness for fishing. He was an avid basketball player and enthusiast of video games, and he delighted in sharing laughter and stories with family and friends, often reminiscing about his childhood. Music was a cherished part of Brandon’s life, as was attending concerts that fueled his vibrant spirit. He found enjoyment in shows such as Dragon Ball Z and Baki, while his Saturdays in the fall were dedicated to following OU football, a beloved pastime. Brandon also shared a special bond with his loyal companion, Gato, with whom he treasured many “sacred cuddle times.” Brandon’s legacy is one of service, love, joy, and camaraderie, and his memory will long be held dear by all who knew him.
