Brenda Lou Hightower

Brenda Lou Hightower died June 29, 2025, in Ardmore, Oklahoma at the age of 71 years 5 months 17 days. Gravesite services are scheduled for 10:00 AM, Friday, July 11, 2025, at the Resthaven Cemetery, entrusted to the care of Wadley’s Funeral Service.

Brenda was born January 12, 1954, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma to Alpha Kinsey and Glovetta Darlene (Timmons) Hightower. She was raised in Oklahoma City before moving to Ardmore. Brenda has spent most of her life living in a shared home with others due to her cerebral palsy. She worked at Sunshine Industries before retiring. Brenda loved her family visits and being with others attending Ardmore People First activities. She loved her baby dolls, stuffed animals and anything Elvis. Brenda enjoyed arts and crafts, coloring, puzzles and watching movies. She has been a resident at Ability for many years and loved all her care givers.

Brenda is preceded in death by her parents, AK and Glovetta Hightower; her brother, Glen Hightower; Her sister, Carolyn Jarvis; a nephew and a great nephew. Survivors include her brothers, Fred Hightower and Charlene of Colorado, Mike Hightower and wife, Anna of Texas; numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
