Cassi Donelle Deal

     Cassi Donelle (Cartwright) Deal died April 20, 2026, in Norman, Oklahoma at the age of 38 years 28 days. Memorial services are scheduled for 10:00 AM, Saturday, April 26, 2026, at the Memorial Assembly of God Church in Purcell, entrusted to the care of Wadley’s Funeral Service.

     Cassi was born March 23, 1988, in Norman, Oklahoma to Bobby and Diana Kay (Northcutt) Cartwright. She was raised in Lexington, Oklahoma, and completed her high school education in 2007 before pursuing further studies at USAO in Chickasha and Brown Mackie College. For many years, Cassi dedicated herself as a scheduling and customer service representative at Signify Health, where her professionalism and kindness shone through each day. She shared a loving partnership with Josh Carlton, cherishing their time together with simple joys—shopping, outings, and enjoying movies. Their devotion embodied the true spirit of commitment and mutual support, embracing life’s journey hand in hand through both health and hardship. A proud fan of the OSU Cowboys, a passion passed down from her grandmother, Donnie Nell Northcutt, who wore the team’s orange with pride and loyalty. Cassi’s affectionate nature extended beyond family and friends to include her beloved fur companion, Bert Reynolds, whom she spoiled with tenderness. Cassi’s creative spirit flourished through scrap-booking and crafts, while her culinary talents, lovingly nurtured by her grandmother, graced every meal she prepared, turning even the simplest dishes into delights. The holidays were a cherished time for Cassi, who found joy in decorating and giving gifts that reflected her generous heart. Family held a special place in her life, with moments spent eagerly anticipating visits with her niece, Sophee, and nephew, Sterling. Above all else, Cassi possessed an immense and loving heart, touching the lives of all who knew her with boundless warmth and affection. Cassi was a woman whose spirit enriched her community and whose legacy of love endures in the hearts of those she leaves behind.

     Cassi is preceded in death by her grandparents, Donnie L. Donnie Nell Northcutt; and her mother, Diana Kay Cartwright. Survivors include her father, Bobby Cartwright; her life partner, Joshua Carlton; her God-son, Hudsyn Michael; her sister, Tia Northcutt and partner, Dakota Skinner, and their kids, Sophee Skinner and Sterling Skinner; her sister, Lacey Smart, and her kids, Maria, Taten, Joseph, Denver and Paislee; her uncles, Dave Northcutt and wife, Allison, Doug Northcutt and wife, Montez; her cousins, Jordan Northcutt and wife, Callie, Ryan Northcutt and wife, Emily, Logan Northcutt and wife, Kalesha, Jonah Northcutt and wife, Chloe, Lucas Northcutt and wife, Jessica, Nick Northcutt and wife, Brook, Tim Grissom and wife, Cyndi; and numerous other relatives and friends.
