Christeen Karen Bartholomew

     Christeen Karen Bartholomew died December 28, 2025, in Norman, Oklahoma at the age of 75 years 10 months 1 day. Graveside services are scheduled for 2:00 PM, Wednesday, December 31, 2025, at Hillside Cemetery in Purcell, entrusted to the care of Wadley’s Funeral Service.

     Christeen was born February 27, 1950, in Ventura, California to Rowe and Elaine (Simmons) Daniels. She was spent her formative years in Ventura County, culminating in her graduation in 1968. On June 6, 1971, in vibrant Las Vegas, Nevada, Christeen and Jerry Bartholomew were united in marriage, embarking on a partnership that flourished for an impressive 49 years until Jerry's passing in 2020. Their love story was one of companionship and shared dreams, a testament to their enduring bond. Christeen's life was enriched by her passions and the cherished moments spent with family and friends. She found joy in traveling, exploring new places with those she loved dearly. Her heart was especially warmed by the laughter and love of her grandchildren, who brought her immense pride and joy. Christeen devoted her nurturing spirit to the care of her beloved dogs and cats, and she delighted in feeding wildlife, particularly the gentle deer that frequented her home. Her culinary skills were matched only by her green thumb, as she cultivated beautiful gardens that flourished under her attentive care. A devoted member of the Springhill Free Will Baptist Church located east of Lexington, Christeen embodied the values of faith and community, touching the lives of those around her with kindness and compassion. Christeen had a vibrant spirit, and love for family, along with her unwavering warmth, which will forever resonate in the hearts of all who had the privilege of knowing her.

     Christeen is preceded in death by her parents, Rowe and Elaine Daniels; her brother, Butch Daniels; and her grandson, Kyle Jackson. Survivors include her daughter, Leisha Jackson and husband, Jamie; her son, Darrel Damaree; her stepdaughter, Teena Bartholomew; her grandchildren, Jarod Ennis and wife, Nikki, Ryan Moore, Spencer Moore, Samantha Cocke, Brooke Jackson, Crissy Joyner; her great grandchildren, Jonesy Ennis, Easton Jackson, Scarlett Jackson; her siblings, Debbie Henderson, Jay Clark and wife, Annie; and numerous other relatives and friends.
