Clara Lansdale

Clara Mae Lansdale died May 12, 2021 in Midwest City, at the age of 67 years 4 months 15 days.  Funeral Services are scheduled for 3:00 PM, Friday, May 14, 2021 at Wadley’s Funeral Chapel.  Interment will follow at Hillside Cemetery, entrusted to the care of Wadley’s Funeral Service.

Clara was born December 28, 1953 in Norman, Oklahoma to Douglas and Cora (Blankenship) Tucker.  She was and attended school in Norman, Oklahoma.  On February 20, 1970, she married Douglas Lansdale in Norman, Oklahoma.  Clara enjoyed sewing, reading, and playing video games.  She loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren, and taking care of her dogs.  Clara loved cooking and baking, especially cookies and German chocolate cake.  She was of the Baptist faith.

Clara is preceded in death by her parents, Douglas and Cora Tucker; her husband of 43 years, Douglas Lansdale; her sister, Gail Barnard; her brothers, Dewayne Tucker and Dean Tucker.  Survivors include her sons, Douglas Lansdale, Jr of Oklahoma City, Richard Lansdale of Purcell and Christopher Lansdale of Midwest City; her grandchildren, Cassandra, Elizabeth, Kara, Lilly and Dominic; and her “adopted sons”, David McDade and Randy White; and numerous other relatives and friends.
