Curtis Ray Snow

     Curtis Ray Snow died September 18, 2025, in Marietta, Oklahoma at the age of 87 years 9 months 25 days. Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 PM, Tuesday, September 23, 2025, at Wadley’s Funeral Chapel. Interment will follow at Hillside Cemetery, entrusted to the care of Wadley’s Funeral Service.

     Curtis was born November 24, 1937, in Purcell, Oklahoma to Edgar E. and Willie Mabel (Strong) Snow. Growing up in the Purcell area, he completed his education at Wayne High School, graduating in 1955. Curtis was inducted into the United States Air Force on September 12, 1957, proudly serving his country until his honorable discharge on September 8, 1961. On January 11, 1963, Curtis united in marriage with Elva L. “Mickey” McCurry, in Purcell, and together they built a life filled with love and devotion, raising four sons: Gary, Curtis Kevin, Paul, and Brian. Their partnership spanned 51 years until Mickey's passing in 2014, leaving an enduring legacy of family bonds and cherished memories. In his profession as a truck driver, Curtis traversed the open roads, experiencing the beauty of the country he loved. He found joy in camping and treasured the time spent with his family, especially his beloved grandchildren, whose laughter and presence brought him immense happiness. His steadfast faith was reflected in his membership at Calvary Holiness Church, where he contributed to the community with unwavering kindness. Curtis was a devoted husband, a loving father, and a doting grandfather, leaving behind a legacy of love that will forever resonate in the hearts of all who knew him.

     Curtis is preceded in death by his parents, Edgar and Willie Snow; his wife, Mickey Snow; his sons, Paul Snow, Kevin Snow, Gary Snow and Brian Snow; and his brother, Rev. Eugene Snow; and his sister, June Reni. Survivors include his daughter-in-law, Josie Snow; his grandchildren, Curtis Snow, Trevon Snow, Derrick Snow, Luke Snow, Ashlinn Snow and fiancé, Brooks McMurphy, Kaitlyn Snow, Cheyenne Snow, Christopher Snow, Amanda Wilkerson and spouse, Danny, Bailee Snow, Reagan Snow and fiancé, Hannah Claxton, Bryant Snow, Austin Conrad and spouse, Courtney, Jeremy Conrad and fiancé, Lexi Martin, Nicole Bookout and spouse, Jake; his numerous great grandchildren; his brother, James Snow and spouse, Vera; and numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
