Dianna Lynn Anderson died April 19, 2026, in Texas at the age of 61 years 1 months 25 days. Memorial services are scheduled for 11:00 AM, Saturday, May 16, 2026, at the Wadley’s Funeral Chapel, entrusted to the care of Wadley’s Funeral Service.
Dianna was born February 25, 1965, in Los Angeles, California to Ted Harper and Eva Joyce (Evans) Palmer. Her family relocated from Oregon to Purcell around 1976, where Dianna flourished. A proud graduate of Purcell High School around 1984, she embraced life with an outgoing spirit and a talent for making friends wherever she went. Dianna’s journey through life included her marriage and divorce from Charles McGraw, followed by a union with Darren Anderson, the love of her life, on May 5, 1999, in Purcell, Oklahoma. Their nearly 14 years together were marked by love and companionship until Darren’s passing in 2013. Throughout her career, Dianna held various roles from waitress at Waffle House to cook at nursing homes, yet she found particular fulfillment as the dietary manager at Wadley Care Center in Purcell. Her compassion extended beyond her profession as she devoted her later years to caring for her mother until her passing in December. Though unable to have children of her own, Dianna’s heart was generously shared with her nieces and nephews, who were like her own, alongside her beloved furbabies. Her spirit of kindness and commitment will be fondly remembered by all who knew her. Her life was a testament to love, resilience, and the profound impact of genuine connection within one’s community.
Dianna is preceded in death by her father, Ted Harper; her mother, Joyce Palmer; her maternal grandparents, Jim and Effie Evans; her paternal grandparents, Bert and Nellie Harper; her husband, Darren Anderson; and her brother, Ted Harper. Survivors include her boyfriend, Michael “Hippie” Skinner; her siblings, Betty Hatfield and husband, Ro, Bert Harper, Shelly Baker and husband, Poncho; her nieces and nephews, Niki Steadman, Sunny Dawn Harmon, Tommy Harmon; and numerous great nieces and nephews, along with many other relatives and friends.
