Donna Faye (Wilmoth) West passed on to eternal reward August 5, 2026, in Midland, Texas at the age of 89 years 10 months 28 days. Memorial services are scheduled for 1:00 PM, Tuesday, August 11, 2026, at the Wadley’s Funeral Chapel in Purcell. A private family committal was held at Hillside Cemetery, entrusted to Wadley’s Funeral Service.

Donna was born September 8, 1936, in Beaver, Oklahoma to Denzil and Helen (Bolack) Wilmoth. She grew up with younger brothers, Delbert and Steve. Donna married her life partner, Earl Ray West on June 10, 1956, in Beaver, Oklahoma, after a brief courtship while a student at the University of Oklahoma. Donna graduated in 1958 with a degree in Elementary Education. After Ray graduated from OU, the couple lived in many energy towns including Van, Andrews, Oklahoma City and Midland, while Ray pursued his career in the Petroleum Industry as an engineer. Donna began her career as an Elementary School teacher after she had the third of their four children. Later, after the couple moved to Midland, Texas, Donna transitioned into a career in real estate. Eventually the couple started their own deep drilling and completion consulting business. Donna, ever the faithful spouse, ran the office and kept the books while raising their children. In 1985, the couple retired and closed their consulting business and service business, to enjoy other pursuits. They spend the next 40 plus years as constant companions, enjoying their children, grandchildren, and eventually great grandchildren. Donna will always be remembered as a sweet, loving soul who was fiercely loyal to her family, and will be deeply missed.

Donna is preceded in death by her parents, Denzil and Helen Wilmoth; both of her younger brothers, Delbert Wilmoth and Steve Wilmoth. Survivors include her husband of 70 years, Ray; her children, Denzil West and wife, Kathy of Midland, Theron Lynn West and wife, Brenda of San Antonio, Sandy Rasavage and husband, Patrick of Midland, and Theron Ray West of Norman; her seven grandchildren; fifteen great grandchildren; along with numerous nephews, nieces and other family and friends.

The family wishes to express their deep gratitude to Cynthia Rodriguez for her years of service in the care of Donna, along with the entire family of care givers at the Cowden Cottage at Manor Park. Their loving care of not just Donna, but the family, will always be remembered.
