Eric Marshall Christensen

     Eric Marshall Christensen passed September 15, 2026, in Kansas City, Missouri at the age of 60 years 2 months 22 days. Funeral services are scheduled for 3:00 PM, Friday, September 18, 2026, at the Wadley’s Funeral Chapel. Interment will follow at Hillside Cemetery entrusted to the care of Wadley’s Funeral Service.

     Eric was born June 14, 1966, in Minneapolis, Minnesota, to Marvin Fredrick and Sandra Jean (Bracewell) Christensen. He was raised in Minnesota, graduating from Princeton High School around 1984. Eric continued his education before becoming a devoted medical courier. Eric also illuminated lives through his passion for art and music. He possessed a beautiful singing voice and his piano melodies resonated with those fortunate enough to hear them. Eric’s sketches were statements of his artistic flair. His father’s humor and wit lived on in him, crafting moments of joy and laughter for all he met. Eric chose Kansas City, Missouri, as his sanctuary, sharing a cherished companionship with his beloved cats, Jackie Boy and Celie. Though illness eventually called him away, the spirit of Eric’s vibrant life and contagious humor will forever echo in the hearts of those who knew him.

     Eric is preceded in death by his father, Marvin Fredrick Christensen. Survivors include his mother, Sandra Jean (Bracewell) Christensen; his siblings, Karen Lee Sammons and husband, Mark, Sharon Dee Christensen, Kenith Marvin Christensen, Troyon Dell Christensen and wife, Alma, Janet May Nelson and husband, Chad; and numerous niece, nephews, and other relatives and friends.
