Gina Gail Robinson

     Gina Gail Robinson died March 24, 2026, in Norman, Oklahoma at 68 years 4 months 5 days. Memorial services are scheduled for 2:00 PM, Saturday, May 9, 2026, at the Wadley’s Funeral Chapel, entrusted to the care of Wadley’s Funeral Service.

     Gina was born November 19, 1957, in Morgan City, Louisiana, to Norlin and Stella Louise (McDaniel) Cruse. Raised in Louisiana, Gina completed her education around 1975, laying the foundation for a life marked by dedication and warmth. On September 16, 1978, Gina united her life with Sam Robinson, beginning a lifelong partnership filled with love and adventure. Together, they journeyed across the nation due to Sam’s work, residing in Texas, New Mexico, and Wyoming, before finally making their home in Oklahoma in 1991. Throughout her life, Gina devoted herself wholeheartedly to the well-being of children, embodying the caring spirit of a "mother hen" to all she encountered. Known for her strong will and genuine appreciation for those around her, Gina embraced life with gratitude and kindness. She leaves a legacy of compassion, strength, and unwavering devotion to family and community—a testament to a life well lived and lovingly shared.

    Gina is preceded in death by parents, Norlin and Stella Cruse; her daughter and son-in-law, Samantha and Issac Monden; and her younger sister. Survivors include her husband, Sam Robinson; her children, Daniel Nester, Chris Nester, Lakota Nester, Lillie Strickland; her grandchildren, Layla and Xander Monden; and numerous other relatives and friends.
