          Jackie Richard Steinman Sr. died March 12, 2026, in Purcell, at the age of 83 years 5 months 27 days. A Memorial Services will be scheduled for a later date, entrusted to the care of Wadley’s Funeral Service.

     Jack was born September 16, 1942, in Leavenworth, Kansas, to Aubrey Steinman and Aletha Gail (McCampbell) Welshire. He was raised around the United States, finally attending Glendale High School in Glendale, Arizona. He continued his education at Glendale Community College. On October 30, 1961, Jack was inducted into the United States Navy, serving proudly until his honorable discharge on February 18, 1966. Jack worked many different trades throughout life including being a welder. He met and married Mary Henwood, making their home in Phoenix Arizona, where their son, Jack Richard II was born. They parted ways but remained friends. Later, Jack met and married Goldie Ann Dean, making their home in Lexington, Oklahoma until her passing in 1991. Years later, Jack and Mary reunited, making their home in Lex. Jack enjoyed traveling and spent his time between Oklahoma and Phoenix.

       Jack is preceded in death by his father, Aubrey Steinman; his mother, Aletha Gail Welshire; his stepfather, Albert Welshire; his 2nd wife, Goldie Ann Steinman; and his sister, Alberta Joy Zysek. Survivors include his son, Jack “JR” Steinman; his 1st wife, Mary Henwood; his siblings, Jeannie Anne Zysek and husband, Jerry, Cathy Mae Hauser and husband, Donald; his brother-in-law, David Zysek; his close friends Chuck and Shawnda Tate; and numerous other relatives and friends.
