Jennifer Sue Weese McGrew

     Jennifer Sue Weese McGrew died September 14, 2025, in Purcell, Oklahoma at the age of 44 years 6 months 28 days. Celebration of Life services are scheduled for 1:00 PM, Saturday, September 27, 2025, at Log Cabin, 208 Display Drive, Jane Lew, West Virginia. A Celebration of Life will be scheduled for a later date for her many friends and family in Oklahoma, entrusted to the care of Wadley’s Funeral Service.

     Jennifer was born February 17, 1981, in Clarksburg, West Virginia to Michael Joseph and Kathy Sue (Yates) Hyde. She attended school in Jane Lew, West Virginia, graduating from Lewis County High School in 1999. Demonstrating a commitment to her aspirations, Jennifer furthered her education and earned an associate's degree in medical billing and coding from Fairmont State College. Her career as a medical secretary, in various physician’s offices over the years, allowed her to make a meaningful impact in the healthcare field. On February 15, 2013, Jennifer embarked on a beautiful new chapter as she married Steven McGrew, and together they established their home in Purcell, enveloped in love and joy. Her life was a beautiful tapestry of devotion to her family and friends who brought her immense happiness and cherished moments. Jennifer had a particular fondness for pampering herself with hair and nail appointments and had a heart that soared whenever she traveled, with Las Vegas holding a special place in her adventures. Her beloved furbaby, Sadie, brought endless joy to her life, but undeniably, it was her family that remained at the core of her heart. Jennifer took immense pride in her children, celebrating their achievements and sharing every joyful moment with those around her. Her legacy extends beyond her passions and pursuits. Jennifer was a source of laughter to all who had the privilege of knowing her. Her spirit lives on in the hearts she touched, and she will be profoundly missed.

     Jennifer is preceded in death by father, Michael Hyde; her paternal grandparents, Oren and Sarah Hyde; her maternal grandparents, L. Gail and Barbara Yates; her uncles, Virgil Hyde, Oren Hyde Jr; and her aunt, Kathy Stout. Survivors include her husband, Steven McGrew of the home; her children, Taylor Weese, Tyler Weese, both of West Virginia, and Landon McGrew of the home; her mother, Kathy Yates Hyde; her sister, Cynthia Hyde; her brother, Michael Hyde Jr., her mother-in-law, Natalie Hirsch; her sister-in-law, Meggan McGrew; her nieces and nephews, Rex and Capri McDonald, Bethany Heckert, Lorelei Heckert, Able Heckert, Anson Heckert, Trey Hyde, Mathew Hyde, Dylan Tallarito, Korbin Tallarito; and numerous other relatives and friends including her beloved colleagues with whom she worked.
