He grew up in Norman, where he completed his education at Norman North High School, graduating with the class of 1999. In 2001, Jeremiah embraced fatherhood with the birth of his beloved daughter, Shyla Smith. He found joy in the simplicity of outdoor life, whether it be at the serene shores of the lake or the treasured moments spent surrounded by family and friends. A skilled craftsman, Jeremiah dedicated much of his life to framing, ultimately remodeling his own home with the loving assistance of his family. 2008 marked another momentous occasion in Jeremiah's life with the arrival of his son, Jeremiah Joseph Cox Jr. His heart came alive in 2010 when he took Kristen Randall on their first date, a charming beginning that blossomed into an inseparable bond. However, among his many accomplishments, Jeremiah considered his role as a grandfather to be his greatest achievement. He was a devoted father, a loving husband, and a steadfast friend, known for his generous spirit and kind heart. An avid supporter of the University of Oklahoma, he eagerly watched every game he could, embodying the passionate spirit of a true fan.
