Lillian June Dunford died February 7, 2017 in Sherman, Texas at the age of 73 years 11 months 9 days. Gravesite services are scheduled for 10:00 AM, Saturday, February 11, 2017 at Washington Cemetery, entrusted to the care of Wadley’s Funeral Service.
Lillian was born February 28, 1943 in Lexington, Oklahoma to Everett H. and Mary Lou (Walker) Bennett. She was raised and attended school in Lexington. On August 22, 1963 she married Bobby Dunford in Norman, Oklahoma. They were married for 46 years when Bobby passed. Lillian enjoyed sewing, crocheting, making "Dunford Caps", flower gardening and travel.
Lillian is preceded in death by her parents, Everett and Mary Lou Bennett; husband Bobby Dunford; and son, Hanford Dumas. Survivors include her son, Winston Dumas and wife, Kim of Velma; daughter Sue Clagg and husband, Barry of Lindsey; daughter in law, Denise Dumas of Noble; siblings, Ramona Farley and husband, Jerry of Kingston, Glenna Broussard and husband, Howard of Lexington, Everett Bennett Jr. and wife, Donna of Purcell, James Bennett and wife, Janet of Dibble; grandchildren, Arthur, Myiesha, Ginna, Jay, Jeremy, Josh and Lena; 11 great grandchildren and many other relatives and friends.
