Lillian Wilhoit

Lillian Louise Wilhoit died June 11, 2018 in Norman at the age of 89 years 8 months 21 days. Gravesite services are scheduled for 11:00 AM, Thursday, June 14, 2018 at Hillside Cemetery, entrusted to Wadley’s Funeral Service.

Louise was born September 21, 1928 in Purcell, Oklahoma to Nub Toliver and Annie Jewel (Blalock) Woody. She was raised in Purcell graduating around 1946. Louise married Lee Roy "Buggs" Wilhoit in Purcell, Oklahoma in 1946. They made their home in the Purcell area. She enjoyed crocheting, reading, travel and fishing. Louise was of the Baptist faith, and loved telling people about Jesus.

Louise is preceded in death by her parents, Nub and Annie Woody; husband, Lee Roy Wilhoit; brothers, Ray Woody, Gerald Woody, Roy Woody, Jerry Woody; and sister, Laverne Caldwell. Survivors include her son, Tom Wilhoit and wife, Corinne of Tucson, Arizona; daughter, Vickie Buchanan and husband, James of Norman; son, Steve Wilhoit of Norman; grandchildren, Lea Ann Brown, Ryan Wilhoit and wife, AJ, Ashley Musick and husband, Khristyon, Justin Buchanan and wife, Carmen; great grandchildren, Jacie Carr, Whitney Carr, Liv Wilhoit, Ever Wilhoit, Khristyon Musick; sister, Norma Smith and husband, Floyd of Wayne, Oklahoma and many other relatives and friends.
