Margaret Kay Riggs

     Margaret Kay Riggs died March 11, 2023, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma at the age of 68 years 6 months.  Graveside services are scheduled for 2:00 PM, Friday, March 17, 2023, at the Noble IOOF Cemetery, entrusted to the care of Wadley’s Funeral Service.
    
     Margaret was born September 11, 1954, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma to Robert and Lodema (Couch) Riggs.  She was raised in Oklahoma City, graduating from John Marshall High School in 1972.  Margaret continued her education and became a Licensed Practical Nurse and worked on getting her RN license.  She enjoyed playing bingo, working crossword puzzles, watching game shows, playing board games, and going thrift store shopping.  Margaret loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.  She loved going on adventures with her grandson. 

     Margaret is preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Lodema Riggs; her brothers, Jimmy Riggs, Bobby Riggs, Billy Riggs; and her sisters, Vera Juncker and Gwen Benson.  Survivors include her daughter, Lara Houston and husband, John of Norman; her daughter, Sara Riggs; her son, Shawn Riggs, both of Oklahoma City; her grandchildren, Gage, Kiley, Hailey, Heather and Shawn D; her sisters, Alice Hagar and Annette Crist; and numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
