Maudie Loveless

Maudie Lee Loveless died December 11, 2021 in Davis, Oklahoma at the age of 88 years 7 months 1 day.  Family visitation hours will be 5pm to 7pm, Tuesday, December 14, 2021 at Wadley’s Funeral Service.  Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 PM, Wednesday, December 15, 2021 at Wadley’s Funeral Chapel.  Interment will follow at Mt. Olivet Cemetery in Pauls Valley, Oklahoma.

Maudie was born May 10, 1933 in Elmore City, Oklahoma to Preston and Ozella (Cottrell) Frost.  Se was raised and attended school in Elmore City, until 1942, when the family moved to Pauls Valley.  Maudie was a loving mother and grandmother who loved spending time with her family.  Not only did she raise a family, but she also worked many years as a CNA in long term care. Maudie enjoyed her career and was an amazing caregiver.  She enjoyed baking, gardening her roses, and quilting.  Maudie loved her siblings, and especially enjoyed visiting with her sister, Bea.  She was known to enjoy a good strawberry shake or a peach fried pie or two from the Arbuckle Fried Pie company.

Maudie is preceded in death by her parents, Preston and Ozella Frost; her children, Joyce Brown Sumner, Michael Brown, Kevin Brown, Teddy Minton, Leon Brown; her grandson, Preston Brown; her siblings, Lewis “Son” Frost, James “Roy” Frost, Bertha “Bea” Frost Bailey, and Opal Jo Frost Johnson.

Survivors include her son, Vernon “Tuffy” Brown; her grandchildren, Crystal, Shane, Heather, Mindy, Johnny, Jeffrey, Chad, Jennifer, Dana, Lance, Chris, Leah, Bailey, Rocky, Johnny, Mandy; her siblings, Linda Hunter and Ray Frost; her 23 great grandchildren with another on the way; her 4 great-great grandchildren; and numerous other relatives and friends.
