Miguel Herrera Marquez died August 5, 2016 in Norman, Oklahoma at the age of 63 years 9 months 30 days. Rosary Services are scheduled for 6PM, Monday, August 8, 2016 at Wadley’s Funeral Chapel. Funeral Services are scheduled for 10:00AM, Tuesday, August 9, 2015 at Wadley’s Funeral Chapel with interment to follow at Lexington Cemetery.

Miguel was born October6, 1952 in Lagos De Moreno Jalisco Mexico to Jose Marquez and Cesarea Herrera Ramirez. Miguel moved to America when he was 21 and worked as a Carpenter for many years. On June 26, 1989 he married Priscilla Upton in Oklahoma City. He loved spending time with his grandkids, being outdoors, and going to flea markets. Miguel enjoyed taking care of his animals, but his dog "Lucy" was his favorite. He was a tinkerer, a Cubs fan, and enjoyed playing ball in his younger years. Miguel was a people person and has always loved music.

Miguel is preceded in death by his parents, Jose and Cesarea. He is survived by his wife, Priscilla Marquez; daughters, Yolanda Alvizo and husband, Poncho Ramirez, Carol Bennett and husband, Mark; son, Robert Duarte and wife, Michelle; grandchildren, Heather Bennett, Dylan Duarte and wife, Kirstie, Tayler Duarte, Cassidy Bennett, Alex Estrada, Shelby Bennett, Adriana Estrada, Blake Pearn, Logan Pearn, Ava Duarte, Noah Duarte, Kaydence Duarte; great grandchild, Myah Duarte; sister, Marie Marquez Herrera; brothers, Marcial Marquez, Felipe Marquez, Felix Marquez; and numerous other relatives and friends.
