     Paula Jean (Mottinger) Grossman passed away May 21, 2025, in Norman, Oklahoma at the age of 78 years 4 months 23 days. Graveside memorial services are scheduled for 10:00 AM, Wednesday, May 28, 2025, at the Washington Cemetery, entrusted to the care of Wadley’s Funeral Service.

     Paula was born December 29, 1946, in Chickasha, Oklahoma to Paul and Evelyn (Lee) Mottinger. Her early years were spent in Oklahoma, until her family relocated to Mesa, Arizona, where she concluded her education at Westwood High School, graduating in 1964. Later returning to Oklahoma with her family, Paula found love and partnership when she married Leon Grossman on July 3, 1997. A woman of many passions, Paula had a profound appreciation for antiquities and cultivated delightful gardens that mirrored her nurturing spirit. Devoted to her family, Paula embraced her roles with grace and dedication—lovingly known as daughter, wife, mother, and cherished ‘memaw’ by her beloved grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Her unwavering commitment to her family was matched only by her remarkable work ethic. Paula poured her heart and soul into her endeavors, always striving to provide for those she held dear, as they were the source of her greatest joy. Paula will be remembered for her legacy of love, resilience, and the warmth of cherished memories, forever etched in the hearts of those she touched. Paula's life was a testament to the beauty of devotion and hard work, and she will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege to know her.

     Paula is preceded in death by her parents, Paul and Evelyn Mottinger. Survivors include her husband, Leon; her children, Billy Brooks and wife, Debrah, Chris Schleff Jarko, Jeff Schleff and wife, April; her grandchildren, Lacey McLemore, Sarah Barrington, Jack Jarko, Kyle Jarko, Amanda Faubion, Michael Jarko, Jacob Schleff, Jesse Schleff; her great grandchildren, Remington, Montana, Kason, Kodi, Zaden, Leighton, Bo Jack; her brother, Randy Mottinger; her sister, Linda Prince; and numerous other relatives and friends.
