Peggy Joan (Coker) Baker died December 23, 2017 in Oklahoma City at the age of 74 years 8 months 8 days. Funeral Services are scheduled for 2:00 PM, Wednesday, December 27, 2017 at Wadley’s Funeral Chapel.
Peggy was born April 15, 1943 in Purcell, Oklahoma to William Marshell and Lilian Mary (Brumfield) Coker. She was raised in the Purcell/Lexington area. Peggy married JC Baker, and was together around 13 years before they separated. She loved sewing, cooking and gardening. Peggy enjoyed taking care of her animals, spending time with her family and watching cooking shows and wrestling.
Peggy is preceded in death by her parents, Willaim Marshell Coker and Lillian Mary Woods; her step father, Bill Woods; siblings, Marshall, Janice, Betty, Lucille; and her son, Marshell Elijah Baker. Survivors include her daughters, Deborah Myers and husband, Gary of Lexington, Marcy Hoff and husband, Karl of Noble; grandchildren, Marissa Myers, Whitney Myers, Jasmine Myers, Dennis Myers, Sabrina Balan, Jennifer Hoff; 8 great grandchildren, 1 great-great grandchild and numerous other relatives and friends.
