Robert Allan Monroy died October 5, 2016 in Purcell, Oklahoma at the age of 68 years 8 months 5 days. Private family services will be held at a later date.
Robert was born January 31, 1948 to Robert and Dorotha Imogene (Humphrey) Monroy in San Pedro, California. He was raised and graduated from school in San Pedro. Robert worked as a horse trainer for many years. On September 4, 1994 he married Cindy Lovelace in Purcell, Oklahoma. Robert loved his family and horses. His favorite horse was Awesome Daze.
Robert is preceded in death by his parents. Survivors include his wife, Cindy; son Bryan Monroy and wife, Teresa; daughter, Alice Lizana and husband Scott; grandchild, Easton Lizana; brother Rusty Monroy and wife, Teresa; sister, Carole Plasterer and many other relatives and friends.
