Robert Wayne Stremlow, Jr.

     Robert Wayne Stremlow, Jr. passed peacefully August 14, 2026, in Purcell, at the age of 63 years 8 months 25 days. A private family memorial will be held at a later date, entrusted to the care of Wadley’s Funeral Service.

     Robert was born November 20, 1962, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma to Robert and Linda (Melton) Stremlow. He was a man of steadfast dedication and quiet strength. Raised in Oklahoma City, he answered the call to serve his country with honor as a member of the United States Air Force Reserve. His military service was marked by unwavering loyalty until he received his honorable discharge. On April 8, 1982, Robert wed Kimbeaux Kerr, with whom he built a life filled with love in Purcell, Oklahoma. As a Federal Corrections Officer, Robert exemplified commitment and integrity. His life was a testament to devotion; as a husband, father, and seasoned combat veteran, he cherished his family above all else. Robert's passions were mirrored in his love for fast sports cars, thriller and crime fiction novels, and collecting unique intems. Yet, his greatest joy came in the simple moments spent with family, particularly as he indulged his grandsons with cheeseburger outings. In all things, Robert was a protector and provider who relished a peaceful life at home with his beloved wife and their Yorkies, his legacy is one of love, service, and quiet nobility.

     Robert is preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Linda Stremlow; his beloved wife, Kim Stremlow; and his half-brother, David Ball. Survivors include his daughter, Lyndsie Kygar; his son, Christopher Stremlow; his grandsons, Talon, Christian and Sebastian; his sister, Ruth Nunez; his nieces, Addrianna and Rebecca Nunez; his nephew, Daniel Nunez; and many other relatives and friends.
