Roger Daniel Howe died May 15, 2023, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma at the age of 77 years 7 months 25 days. Memorial Services are scheduled for 10:00 AM, Saturday, May 27, 2023, at the Wadley’s Funeral Chapel, entrusted to the care of Wadley’s Funeral Service.
Roger was born September 21, 1945, in Riverside, California to Roy and Lonette (Finnell) Howe. He was raised in California. Roger married Linda O’Briant on August 13, 1964, in Greenville, Mississippi. He was inducted into the United States Air Force on September 15, 1967, proudly serving until his honorable discharge on September 14, 1971. Roger was very skilled and loved wood working, his infamous elves that were modeled after his grandchildren. He loved riding his motorcycle, fishing, and his favorite foods were Chinese and Mexican food, and occasionally steak. Roger enjoyed working at Walmart and being with all of his coworkers and customers.
Roger is preceded in death by his parents, Roy and Lonette Howe; and his wife, Linda Howe. Survivors include his daughters, Denise Howe, Caprice Howe, Latrice Sinks; his grandchildren, Joshua Boone, Melyssa Howe, Joseph Leeper, Angie Alexander, Vanessa Perry, August Sinks, Eddie Sinks; his great grandchildren, Arya Swartz, Leo Packwood and Josephine Hopson; his sisfter, Charlene Sherrod; and numerous other relatives and friends.
