Sandra Gail Roberts

     Sandra Gail Roberts passed away September 24, 2025, in Purcell, at the age of 74 years 11 months 4 days. Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 PM, Saturday, September 27, 2025, at the Wadley’s Funeral Chapel. Interment will follow at Hillside Cemetery, entrusted to the care of Wadley’s Funeral Service.

     Sandra was born October 20, 1950, in Purcell, Oklahoma to C.A. Jr. and Louise (Tucker) Easley. She was raised in the Noble area, graduating from Noble High School in 1968. On a day dedicated to love, February 14, 1969, Sandra united in marriage with Michael Dee Roberts, embarking on a journey filled with shared dreams and cherished moments. Committed to lifelong learning, Sandra pursued further education at City College, where she earned her bachelor’s degree, exemplifying her dedication to knowledge and growth. In her professional endeavors, Sandra made a lasting impact within public education, dedicating her talents to Wanette, Noble, and Lexington schools. Her versatility revealed itself through various roles, including bus driver, transportation director, and district treasurer, demonstrating her unwavering commitment to her community and the students she served. Beyond her professional life, Sandra cultivated a fulfilling lifestyle interwoven with her family's agricultural pursuits. Together they raised cattle, farmed the land, and embraced the spirited world of rodeo. With a passion for adventure, she took to barrel racing and horse training, reveling in the joys of the rodeo life. Sandra's spirit was further reflected in her love for leisure activities, whether it was delving into a good book or sharing delightful moments in the great outdoors during deer hunting trips and camping with her family. Sandra had an innate affection for animals, often bringing home strays and providing them with warmth and care on their beloved farm. Above all else, Sandra cherished her family. Each moment spent together was a precious treasure for her, as she embraced the laughter, love, and bonds that defined their lives. She leaves behind a legacy of kindness, resilience, and devotion, forever remembered by all who were fortunate enough to know her.

     Sandra is preceded in death by her parents, Jr. and Louise Easley; her mother and father-in-law, Geneva and Burl Roberts. Survivors include her husband of 56 years, Michael Dee Roberts; her son, Dee Roberts and wife, Susan; her grandson, KoDee Roberts and wife, Whitney; her granddaughter, Madison Hudson and husband, Travis; her great grandchildren, BoDee Roberts and Addie Roberts; her brother, Joe Easley and wife, Tonya; numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
