     Shelly Lee Baker died August 7, 2026, in Norman, Oklahoma at the age of 62 years 4 months 20 days. Memorial services are scheduled for 1:00 PM, Monday, August 17, 2026, at the Wadley’s Funeral Chapel, entrusted to the care of Wadley’s Funeral Service.

     Shelly was born March 18, 1964, in Huntington Park, Los Angeles, California, graced this world with warmth and resilience. One of the beloved children of Ted and Eva Joyce (Evans) Harper, her journey from California to Oregon to Purcell, when her family relocated in 1975, where Shelly blossomed and attended local schools. Throughout her life her career varied, but Shelly found joy in her work at the Days Inn, cherishing her role in housekeeping. Her heart was anchored by marriage to Poncho Baker, and together they shared cherished moments in life. Shelly loved fishing with her fishing partner, Lil Tommy, as well as camping with the family. Shelly enjoyed crocheting, making beautiful blankets, booties and crafting all kinds of Christmas decorations, delighting in creating treasures for those she loved. Her passion for crafts, puzzles, and family games was only surpassed by her dedication to her family. Known for her strength and determination, she tackled every challenge with grace. Shelly will be remembered as a remarkable mother, sister, and wife, leaving an indelible mark on the hearts of those who knew her.

     Shelly is preceded in death by her father, Ted Harper; her mother, Joyce Palmer; her maternal grandparents, Jim and Effie Evans; her paternal grandparents, Bert and Nellie Harper; her sister and brother-in-law, Dianna and Darren Anderson; and her brother, Ted Harper. Survivors include her husband, Poncho Baker; her children, Sunny Dawn Harmon, Tommy Harmon and wife, Lina, Amber Baker, John Baker, Elizabeth Baker; her grandchildren, Tommy Harmon and wife, Mica, Alejandro Narvaez, Corey Farley, Isaiah Richardson, Lane Benson and wife, Hailey, Karen Lee Baker, Ryan Gill and wife, Mikalynn; her great grandchildren, Evelyn Rose, Tommy Jr, Kambrey, Bailey, Landon, Aiden, Amari, Ryan, Jasmine, Rylee, Malaki; her siblings, Betty Hatfield and husband, Ro, Bert Harper; her niece, Niki Steadman and husband, Steve; her great nieces, Kashyn Harper and fiancé’, Nick, Kelly Harper and fiancé, Sid; her great nephew, Jeffrey Ozburn; her great-great nieces and nephews, Ella, Audrey, Ethan, James; and numerous other relatives and friends.
