     Susan Ray Bennett died December 8, 2025, in Norman, Oklahoma at the age of 73 years 6 days. Funeral services are scheduled for 1:00 PM, Friday, December 12, 2025, at the New Community Church in Midwest City. Interment will follow at Newcastle Memorial Gardens Cemetery, entrusted to the care of Wadley’s Funeral Service.

     Susan was born December 2, 1952, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma to Herman “Fritz” and Imogene (Clinton) Miser. Raised in Oklahoma City, she proudly graduated from Capitol Hill High School in 1971, setting forth on a life characterized by compassion and creativity. In her early years, Susan embarked on a journey as a cosmetologist, where her talents shone brightly, reflecting her innate desire to beautify the lives of others. Later, her career path led her to the NAIC, where she served as a dedicated data entry clerk, exemplifying diligence and commitment. On July 10, 1982, Susan united in marriage with Thomas Arthur Bennett. Together, they built a loving home in Norman, a sanctuary filled with joy and warmth. Susan's nurturing spirit flourished in her garden, where she passionately tended to her flowers, particularly her cherished roses. Her culinary skills, coupled with her talents in sewing, knitting, and various crafts, brought creativity and flavor into the lives of her family. A devoted wife and mother, Susan derived immense joy from caring for her family, alongside a growing fondness for her puppies. She found delight in working puzzles, turning them into beautiful wall art, all while engaging in the light-heartedness of game shows and card games. Fridays held a special significance for her, as they were moments filled with laughter and love shared with her husband, sister, and brother-in-law. A devoted member of New Community Church in Midwest City, Susan was a true people person, always willing to lend a hand and support those in her community. Her kindness and generosity left an indelible mark on the hearts of many. Susan, led a life rich in love, creativity, and compassion. Her spirit will forever remain in the memories of all who had the pleasure of knowing her.

     Susan is preceded in death by her parents, Fritz and Imogene Miser; her daughter, Christie Bennett; her daughter, Tina Bennett; and several grandchildren. Survivors include her husband of 43 years, Thomas Bennett; her daughter, Angie Price; her son, Cogan Bennett and fiancé, Hanah Revell; her son, Shane Bennett; her daughter, Kim Treece; her son, Sheb Bennett; her daughter, Tara Bennett; her grandchildren, Chelsea Price, Ryan Nichols, Rodney Wilson, Tommy Treece, Krissy Treece, Vance Treece, Douglas Treece, Isabeau Railback, Isaac Christian, Jesse Rogers, Rocco Rogers; her sister, Cindy Frizzell and husband, Johnny, and their sons, Richard Frizzell and Scott Frizzell; her sister, Betty Miser; her sister-in-law, Phyllis Richmond and husband, Rayford; and numerous great grandchildren; and other relatives and friends.
