Wanda, born March 27, 1936, in Calumet, Oklahoma, was a beacon of love and creativity throughout her life. As the eldest of six children born to Jacob and Dorothy Klusmeyer, she cherished her roots in Choctaw. Wanda's journey through life was marked by her deep commitment to others. She married Donald Harvey, with whom she graciously raised three beautiful children. Life’s path then led her to James Williams, uniting their families by blending her three children with Jim’s two. This partnership flourished for an incredible 55 years, filled with countless adventures. A spirited "winter Texan," Wanda and Jim relished their time in Port Aransas, Texas, where she took great joy in directing activities at the senior center, and spending time with great friends. She cherished her winters walking the beaches, collecting seashells and savoring the peace of the sea while Jim fished. Her zest for life also shone through her passion for fitness, as she enthusiastically engaged in aerobic exercises while following the invigorating Jack LaLanne videos. Wanda had many artistic talents including her love of sewing, crocheting, and crafting whenever the opportunity arose. A true lover of music, she embraced her knack for singing country/western and gospel songs, often performing with Jim at church as well as senior centers, touching many hearts along the way. Additionally, Wanda showcased her musical gifts through her proficiency in playing the accordion, piano, and fiddle. Throughout the years, Wanda was devoted to her family, finding immense joy in spending time together and traveling with Jim.
