Warren Cordell Smith died July 11, 2025, in Purcell, Oklahoma at the age of 60 years 5 months 9 days. Funeral Services are scheduled for 1:00 PM, Saturday, July 19, 2025, at the Wadley’s Funeral Chapel. Interment will follow at Hillside Cemetery, entrusted to the care of Wadley’s Funeral Service.
Warren was born February 2, 1965, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, to Harrold Williamson and Lena Smith. He was raised in Oklahoma City, before completing his education at Ardmore High School, where the foundation of his character was laid, filled with tenacity and warmth. In 1998, he married Lena Walker in a ceremony in Oklahoma City, embarking on a journey of partnership and devotion that would touch the hearts of many. Warren dedicated many years of his life to the noble profession as a tree trimmer, where he garnered respect through hard work and unwavering commitment. An enthusiast of life, Warren found joy in the thrill of rodeos, the majestic grace of horse riding, and the serene embrace of fishing. His true passion, however, lay in the treasured moments spent with his family, where laughter and love flourished. As a cherished member of New Hope Baptist Church, his spirit was rooted in faith and community, inspiring those around him to lead lives of compassion and kindness.
Warren is preceded in death by his father, Harrold Williamson; his mother, Lean Mae Smith Pope; his grandparents, Hurbert and Katherine Smith. Survivors include his wife, Lena Walker; his daughters, Kristena Brazel Hill and spouse, Alford, Tasena Brazel, Stacy Dixon, Tracy Dixon; his siblings, Ricky Smith, Kathy Lynn Williamson, Gladys Smith, Mark Smith, Reginald Williamson and spouse, Cynthia; a host of grandchildren and many other relatives and friends.
