Everett George Sanders died January 22, 2021 in Noble, Oklahoma at the age of 86 years 11 months 2 days. Funeral Services are scheduled for 10:00 AM, Wednesday, January 27, 2021 at Wadley’s Funeral Chapel. Interment will follow in the afternoon at Parker Cemetery in Arkansas City, Kansas, entrusted to the care of Wadley’s Funeral Service.
Everett was born February 20, 1934 to Austin and Mary (Bostick) Sanders in Eastern Oklahoma. He enlisted in the Marines around 1953, proudly serving his country until his honorable discharge. On December 23, 1958, Everett married Lois M. Bridges in Reno, Nevada. They made their home in Kansas where Everett worked for the Winfield State Hospital, as well as in Construction. Everett enjoyed riding his custom trike whenever he could. He liked cooking steaks on the grill for his family, and smoking meats in his smoker. Everett also enjoyed fishing, hunting, paddle fishing, smelting and geoducking in Washington State. He loved spending time with his family, and tried to always be involved with his children, grandchildren and great grandchildren’s lives. He was up for a good car race, and always had a smile on his face.
Everett is preceded in death by his parents, Austin and Mary Sanders; his wife, Lois Sanders; his brother, Gene Sanders; his sister, Joyce Mannon; his nephew, Waltor Mannon; and his great grandson, Jeremiah Drake Richardson. Survivors include his son, Everett G. Sanders, Jr. of Noble; his daughter, Tammy L. Massengale of Noble; his grandchildren, Donald R. Stull, Jr. of Fine, NY, Tishia M. Stull of Noble, Toni M. Stull of Fine, NY; his grandson in law, Jeremy K. Richardson of Noble; his great grandchildren, Haven R. Richardson, Winter S. Richardson, both of Noble, Drake A. Stull, Elizabeth Ann Lois Stull, both of Fine, NY, Domonic D. Massengale of Clearmount, FL; his siblings, Kenneth Sanders, Velma Stockton, Archie Sanders, Mary Sanders, all of California; and numerous other relatives and friends.
