Jerry Wright

Jerry Wayne Wright died June 7, 2022, in Purcell, at the age of 60 years 8 months 21 days.  A Celebration of Life Service is scheduled for 11AM to 2PM, Saturday, June 18, 2022, at the Maysville Senior Citizens Center, 401 Elm Street, Maysville, OK, entrusted to the care of Wadley’s Funeral Service.  For directions or questions, please call Patsy at (405) 351-0595.

Jerry was born September 17, 1961, in Pauls Valley, Oklahoma to Clarence and Wanda (Miller) Wright.  He was raised and attended school in Maysville, Oklahoma, graduating around 1979.  On September 10, 1994, Jerry and Karen Leach in Chickasha, Oklahoma.  He worked as a Sales Associate for Wal-Mart Super Center in Purcell for many years.  Jerry enjoyed fishing, camping, and gambling.  He loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.

Jerry is preceded in death by his parents, Clarence and Wanda Wright; and a son, Jerry Don Wright.  Survivors include his wife, Karen Wright; his daughter, Stephanie Vaughn, ad her 2 daughters, Kidra and Alissa; his son, Joshua Vaughn and wife, Stephanie and their 4 children; his son, Jimmy Vaughn and wife, Sidney and their 2 children; his brother, Jim Wright and wife, Beverly; his sisters, Patsy Sedinger and Peggy James; and numerous other relatives and friends.
