Jo Lyn Page

July 7, 1937 — February 16, 2022

Jo Lyn Page died February 16, 2022, in Shattuck, Oklahoma at the age of 84 years 7 months 9 days.  Funeral Services are scheduled for 1:00 PM, Monday, February 28, 2022, at Wadley's Funeral Chapel.  A private interment is scheduled, entrusted to the care of Wadley's Funeral Service.

Jo Lyn was born July 7, 1937, in Grandfield, Oklahoma to Glen and Geraldine (Poe) Farris.  She was raised in Norman, graduating in 1956.  Jo Lyn worked in childcare for many years.  On December 10, 1970, she married S. William “Bill” Page in Hot Springs, Arkansas.  They made their home in Purcell until Bill passed in 2015.  Jo Lyn then moved to Woodward to be close to her daughters.  She loved to sew.  When her girls were little, she made all of their Barbie and baby doll clothes.  Jo Lyn also loved to crochet, embroidery, and crafts.  She was very creative and was good at drawing.  Jo Lyn loved her babies and caring for kids at the daycare.  She loved being with her family, especially her grandkids.  Jo Lyn attended Memorial Assembly of God in Purcell for many years, and then was one of the founding members of Christian Life Assembly in Lexington.  She also attended Glo Ministries bible study weekly.  When she moved to Woodward, Jo Lyn attended First United Methodist Church when she was able.  As she got older, and her health declined, all her health care providers mentioned how sweet she was and that she had a good sense of humor.  Jo Lyn enjoyed laughing, and it was easy to make her laugh.

Jo Lyn is preceded in death by her parents, Glen and Geraldine Farris; her husband, Bill Page; her brothers, Glen Farris II, and Billy Clark “Corky” Farris; and her sister, Mary Jane “Janie” Beeson.  Survivors include her daughter, Karen Harrison and husband, Jason of Woodward; her daughter, Janet Hood and husband, Shane of Kingfisher; her grandchildren, Taylor Harrison, Ryan Harrison, and Hunter Harrison, all of Woodward, Kylie Hood and Addison Hood, both of Kingfisher; her brother, Terry Farris; her brother, Jack Farris; and many other relatives and friends.
