Kathleen Morris

Kathleen Virginia Morris died August 22, 2019 in Noble, Oklahoma at the age of 92 3/4 years.  Funeral Services are scheduled for 10:00 AM, Tuesday, August 27, 2019 at the Maguire Baptist Church east of Noble.  Interment will follow at the Fairview Maguire Cemetery, entrusted to the care of Wadley's Funeral Service, Inc.

Kathleen was born January 4, 1927 in Noble, Oklahoma to Ray and Gladys (Willis) Elllis. She was raised and attended school in Noble, Oklahoma. Kathleen married Theron Curren in Noble, Oklahoma in 1942. They were married for 31 years, before Theron passed in 1973. Kathleen lived 30 years in California, before moving back to Oklahoma. In 1976, Kathleen married Roy Morris in Noble, Oklahoma, where they made their home. They were married were married for 31 years before Roy passed in 2007. Kathleen worked as a housekeeper at Central State Hospital for many years. She operated Highland Residential Care in Noble for years as well, and was on the Board of the Noble Senior Citizens Center. Kathleen was very active for 92 3/4, she loved playing dominos and cards with her friends, and was a member of the Maguire Baptist Church.

Kathleen is preceded in death by her parents; Ray and Gladys Ellis; her 1st husband, Theron Curren; her 2nd husband, Roy Morris; her stepfather, Herman Butler; her stepbrother, Herman C. Butler; her step sister, Ollie Mary Ridenhour; her great granddaughter, Faith Marie Curren.  Survivors include her sons, Johnny Ray Curren and wife, Leanne, Steven Wayne Curren; her daughter, Roberta Simon; her grandchildren, Michael Curren and wife, Lorie, Kevin Helm and wife, Kerri, Jason Curren and wife, Kraichelle; her great grandchildren, Shelby, Hope, Sara, Dalton, Josh, Brody, and twins, Ethan and Mason; her great great grandchildren, Ashur, Isaac, Sylas; and many other family and friends.
