Randy Sweeney

Randy Doyle Sweeney died May 29, 2019 in Lexington, Oklahoma at the age of 66 years 4 months 24 days. Graveside Services are scheduled for 10:00 AM, Monday, June 3, 2019 at the Lexington Cemetery, entrusted to the care of Wadley’s Funeral Service.

Randy was born January 5, 1953 in Fort Worth, Texas to Claudie and Mildred (Jones) Sweeney. He was raised in Fort Worth, graduating around 1971. On April 15, 1982, he married LaDonna Dobbs in Lexington, Oklahoma, where they made their home. Randy worked as a Machinist for many years, owning Sweeney Small Engine Repair in Lexington. He enjoyed working with his hands, riding and working on motorcycles, as well as racing cars.

Randy is preceded in death by his parents, Claudie and Mildred Sweeney; and his son, Toby Sweeney. Survivors include his wife, Donna; mother in law, Shirley Dobbs; sisters in law, Bobbie, Vickie and husband, Gerald; and many other relatives and friends.
